In order to ensure the safety, order, and authenticity during National Day, since September 27, Huhhot City Cultural Market Management Office has carried out a special inspection in the city’s publication market.

Reportedly, the focus of this round of inspections is to strike hard illegal publications whose subject matter is political in nature. As of yesterday, cultural market personnel had inspected publication management places including Ren Min Road Publication Wholesale Center, Wen Du Publication Wholesale Town, Ren Lu Bookstore, Cultural Business Mall Publication Counter, bookstores and street sales near the train and bus stations, and confiscated more than 500 copy-right infringed publications and more than 100 publications with political contents.

In addition, during the National Day holiday, Huhhot Cultural Market Management Office law enforcement personnel carried out a surprise raid of cultural entertainment places including Internet cafes, video game stores, dancing places, bars, and multimedia publication stores, and imposed on-the-spot punishments to those who engaged in illegal management.
